Tenanted Maroochydore Retail Investment Sold
A tenanted retail investment in the heart of the Maroochydore CBD on the Sunshine Coast has been sold for $950,000 just eight days after coming on the market.
The speedy sale of 3/7-9 Plaza Parade, Maroochydore, was handled by listing agent Emily Pendleton of Ray White Commercial North Coast Central. The successful purchaser, introduced by Ryan Parry of CBRE Sunshine Coast, will realise a return of approximately 6.9per cent on their new investment.
“It was exciting to secure a buyer for this 191 sqm ground floor tenanted investment just eight days after listing the property,” Emily Pendleton said.
“There is a real hunger for investment property in and around the new Maroochydore CBD.
“This particular sale has left a long list of disappointed, qualified buyers who are still in the market.”
Emily Pendleton said the outlet with a long term digital printing business tenant is opposite Sunshine Plaza and is returning a net rental income of approximately $66,182 per annum.
“These well-established tenants have occupied these premises for the past 15 years and have recently signed a new five year lease,” she said.
